Senior Analog / Mixed Signal Design Engineer
Position Description:
You will be responsible
for designing analog/mixed signal circuits used in power
management chips. Specifically you will:
- Develop design specifications and circuit topologies
- Perform circuit design
- Prepare block diagrams, schematics, simulation
- Present design reviews
- Perform layout design and oversee all layout related
activities
- Work with Test/Product Engineering to develop
test specifications and perform measurements
- Low power linear circuits: OPAMP, filters, other
signal conditioning,
- Bandgap voltage/current reference, biasing
- Switched capacitor circuits: filters, comparators,
sample/hold
- A/D converters (pipeline, multstep, SAR, multiple
slope, sigma-delta)
- LDOs and power regulators and buffers
- 6-10 years of
analog design experience
Desired Skills:
- Power MOSFET design and gate driver
- Power management sub systems for battery powered,
portable devices
- Switching regulator design (power supply)
- Low power PLL
- Mixed-signal control systems
- Strong device physics and high voltage CMOS IC technology
- Ability to implement mixed signal macro cells from
IC specifications in either Cadence and/or Synopsis
flows
- Designed linear circuits using a CMOS technology
of 0.5um to 0.25um and BCD process
